Just ask anyone who lives there and they will tell you, Mt. Juliet is a great place to call home!  The population of Mt. Juliet TN is approximately 20,500 and is consistently growing to due the quality of life offered in this community.   This community offers a unique small town atmosphere while providing close proximity for shipping and entertainment.  There must be something to living in this quaint community, because famous entertainers such as Daryl Singletary, Charlie Daniels, and Tracy Lawrence have all purchased real estate here and call Mt. Juliet their home. 

NASCAR fans will certainly enjoy living in Mt. Juliet which is the home of the Nashville Super Speedway.  It is no surprise to resident here that the Bobby Hamilton Racing Team also decided to call Mt. Juliet their home. 

Located just 15 miles east of downtown Nashville, Mt. Juliet has been able to attract a very diversified industrial base and provide excellent public schools and education for school aged children.  Despite the massive growth of this area, the community has managed to maintain traditional family values among the residents.   

Mt. Juliet is a beautiful area of Middle TN which has rolling hills and scenic views of the lake throughout the city.  Located in Wilson County,  Mt. Juliet is conveniently located between I40 and Hwy. 70.  Although Mount Juliet is considered to be a suburb of Nashville, there is much this town has to offer to its residents without commuting into the big city.

Water and boating enthusiasts will find Mt. Juliet the perfect place to live because of its unique location between Old Hickory Lake and Percy Priest Lake.  Many locals refer to Mt. Juliet as the City Between The Lakes.  Some residents of Mt. Juliet are fortunate enough to own their own home that comes complete with a private boat dock.  Other residents take the less expensive approach and purchase real estate in one of the subdivisions that offers a community boat dock, or simply use one of the many public marinas. 

The increasing popularity of Mt. Juliet has resulted in an influx of retailers and new commercial development.  Providence Marketplace is now open and offers retail shopping, dining, and even a new movie theatre.  Access to the Providence Mall is super convenient and you will find it located just off of I40 at the Mt. Juliet Road exit. 

Mt. Juliet schools are a part of the Wilson County School System and is a community that takes pride in its excellent public education system.  If you view the Tennessee Report Card on Schools you will find that Mt. Juliet schools rate extremely high.  Mt. Juliet High is the oldest high schools and you will see the school colors of Black and Gold throughout the town.  However, the opening of Wilson Central High School provided a much needed second high school and this school offers not only a beautiful facility but an excellent academic program as well.  You will find that the local high school sports are very important to the residents of Mt. Juliet.  Activities for families and children are always available in this town.

The Music City Star is a 33 mile rail line between downtown Nashville and the city of Lebanon with three stops in the morning and three in the afternoon.  Commuters of the Music City Star are able to leave their cars and relax on the ride into Nashville.
